Shorty's Show Pigs

Our farm

Shorty's Show Pigs is a small farm in Ashville, NY, raising crossbred hogs. Our goal is to raise high-quality hogs and, more importantly, high-quality young adults. Buyers can expect help and guidance through the entire length of their family's project. We're here to help any way we can.

Sale types

• Online sale — a race-horse style auction. All pigs stay open for bidding until the sale closes together, and every new bid adds time to the clock, so no one gets outbid in the last second. The extra time starts at 5 minutes and gets shorter as the sale goes on, down to 30 seconds. Bidding ends when the clock runs out with no new bids. Online sale winners must pay in full within 5 days of the sale closing, and pigs must be paid in full before pickup. All pigs must be picked up within 5 days of the sale closing. A $20 per day fee applies for each day after that.
• Buy Now Sale (private treaty) — set price. Reserve with a 25% deposit (minimum $150). The balance is due in full within 3 days of purchase. All pigs must be picked up within 5 days of the sale closing. A $20 per day fee applies for each day after that.
